Pre-launch privacy notice
Checktide is under development. Customer verification services are not open.
This webpage
This notice is hosted with OpenAI Sites, using Cloudflare infrastructure. Hosting providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses and browser or device information, to deliver and secure the page. The page itself has no contact form, advertising, analytics scripts, or application cookies added by Checktide. Hosting-provider processing is described in the OpenAI Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Current scope
Checktide is under development and is not open for customer verification work. This notice describes contact by email and internal development testing. It does not offer a production service or invite you to install the app or submit customer systems for testing.
Operator and contact
Checktide is operated by Qian Miao, an individual based in China. Contact support@checktide.app for privacy questions or requests concerning information you have supplied.
Information and purposes
Email correspondence includes your sender details, message and any attachments. The operator reads it to respond to your enquiry. Please do not email passwords, access tokens, identity documents or sensitive production records.
Internal development tests can read Jira issue identifiers, summaries, descriptions and timestamps. The development app can retain installation/site identifiers, Atlassian account identifiers, issue materials, draft scopes, requests, clarification answers, status changes and audit records. These are used to develop and check the request workflow. Free-text test materials can contain personal information; internal testing does not make such information anonymous.
These capabilities describe the development implementation, not completed customer verification work. Customer use is not currently available.
Where information goes
Development app records are stored in Atlassian Forge. An authenticated operator interface can return issue materials and request records to local tools, where the operator can read them. Processing is therefore not confined to Atlassian.
Mail sent to the support address passes through Cloudflare Email Routing to a Gmail mailbox used by the operator. Atlassian, Cloudflare and Google provide the corresponding platform, routing and email services. The operator is based in China; this notice does not promise that these providers store all information in China or in any single region.
OpenAI Codex is used during development. This notice does not assert that all development materials have remained outside AI tools. It is not permission to submit customer materials to an AI provider, and it makes no zero-retention or model-training commitment for a future customer service.
Retention and requests
The current development app does not implement automatic record expiry. A complete deletion procedure covering Forge records, local exports, email and any AI-tool copies has not yet been verified. Uninstalling the app must not be assumed to erase every copy.
Privacy questions and requests for access, correction or deletion can be sent to support@checktide.app. Do not include identity documents or secrets in the initial request. This notice does not promise an unverified deletion deadline or automated deletion feature; stating a limitation does not remove obligations to handle applicable requests.
Before customer use
The applicable notice and operating arrangements must be updated before customer use begins. They must describe the actual customer data flow, human and AI access, providers, processing locations, retention, deletion and applicable customer terms. This development-stage notice cannot stand in for that review.
